As we wrap up the final week of term before the school summer holidays, it’s been a busy and varied one in the studio - packed with training, colour, creativity, and a few very sparkly finishes.

Popular Colours This Week

Pastels and brights have been top picks again, with cat eye gel making a strong return - this time in vibrant shades and even used as a base for French tips.

Twenty’s Build & Boost in Nue has continued to be a go-to for clients who prefer a timeless, understated look.

Nail Art Trends

Subtle sparkle and personal touches have been the theme. I recreated a lush bubble bar-inspired look using marbling and silver leaf accents - one of my favourite combinations.

And I couldn’t miss the return of bright cat eye finishes or a dreamy graduation set with scattered starbursts on a blue shimmer base.

News from the Studio

This week I welcomed another student to the studio, beginning her journey into the world of nails with my accredited manicure course. It’s always great to see students grow in skill and confidence, especially at the beginning of their training.

I also received my first delivery from STALEKS - an exciting new brand partnership! I’m now able to offer:

  • Curated manicure starter kits for students

  • Professional-quality tools at fair prices for nail techs

  • A few fab new items for clients too!

I’m so pleased to be able to provide reliable tools to support safe, high-quality work - whether you’re starting out or already working in the industry. Website will be updated in the coming days.

Appointment Bookings

With school holidays about to start, things are naturally a little busier. I’m currently fully booked for June and July, but any cancellations will be shared via Instagram Stories - so keep an eye out if you’re hoping to grab a last-minute space.

Nail Desk Chat

Love Island (both UK and US versions) has been the main topic this week - with plenty of opinions flying around!

Another big talking point? The new M&S strawberries and cream sandwich. It’s apparently delicious but surprisingly small for the price. I’ll have to take everyone’s word for it - no gluten-free version yet!

Nails I Wanted to Steal This Week

That graduation set from the beginning of the week really stuck with me - a soft blue cat eye to match the gown’s hood, with delicate white starburst accents scattered across each nail. Simple but personal and so pretty.
